Fun on a Budget

We all like to have fun, right?! And who doesn't like to save money while doing it? I do!

So here are some supplies you should keep on hand for cheap crafting fun with the kiddos:

Popsicle Sticks -- both colored and plain
Velcro -- rolls or dots
Soup Cans -- rinse out and recycle
A hot glue gun and refill glue sticks -- these can be found for $10 or less at most crafting stores
Paper plates -- these can be bought at Wal-Mart for just a few dollars and a pack lasts a while
Construction paper -- catch a sale at a grocery store or local craft store
Crayons, colored pencils & markers--stock up at "back-to-school" time when they are on sale
Empty toilet paper and paper towel rolls
Empty shoe boxes
